Raja Ali
Assistant Vice Principal - Behaviour and Culture
Having always worked in schools in challenging
circumstances Raja's belief – which matches the Dixons' mission of challenging educational and social disadvantage – is that
regardless of backgrounds, cultures and negative self-fulfilling prophecies,
all students deserve the right to access outstanding educational provision and
that this is the key to success for individuals, groups and communities.
Raja completed his studies in Electronic & Communications Engineering at the University of Leeds after which he spent 4 years working in the banking sector. He completed the Graduate Teacher Training Programme in 2005 as a Maths subject specialist and has been working to support young people in leadership positions in a number of different schools across Bradford, Leeds and Harrogate since then.
Raja joined Dixons McMillan in January 2024 as Assistant Vice Principal for Behaviour & Culture. He is looking forward to working with the team at DMA to help support providing the very best learning experiences for all young people so they may all fulfil their unique potential regardless of their backgrounds.
