Class of 2028 (Y9) Positive Choices

The Class of 2028 were very lucky to have Leeds United's Positive Choices programme visit them today for their Positive Choices programme. This fantastic one-day event offered interactive, discussion based workshops that sees up to six guest speakers deliver sessions throughout the school day.
Working with their partners - such as West Yorkshire Police - the programme's experienced guest speakers told their stories to our students of how negative choices impacted their lives and the consequences that this brought to themselves, their families and their communities.
Once students have heard from the speakers, they then being to think further about the way choices do not have to always be negative, but can be positive and when kept to can be a force for good in the world.
Year 9 thoroughly enjoyed their day with the programme and we look forward to them visiting again to run their sessions with our other year groups.
